Have you ever had an interest in writing true crime, or what the process is of doing it? Join me in a 3 hour online class on Oct. 21, 2023 for, Writing True Crime with Pepper Anne, as I discuss the ins and outs of how writing true crime takes place, along with the interest behind it all!
I'll share tips of where to look while researching, who to contact to get records that tie into your story, how to approach individuals about conducting interviews, and what you need to properly do the interviews and how to request the FOIA records from the Federal Bureau of Investigations, and what that even means and why! I'll also talk about why it's important to have a literary attorney on your side, ideas on how to market your work, and so much more!

Enchanted History for Every Occasion
When Pepper heard she had a family member, a cousin who is currently serving fourteen life sentences in the Texas State penitentiary on multiple charges ranging from kidnapping to aggravated assault and more, she wanted to know the whole story from beginning to end. The more she learned, the less sense it made.
She faced it head on, questioning everything, raising hell, ruffling feathers, even planting her nose in other people’s businesses, some of whom were hardened criminals with dangerous pasts and connections to people far bigger than anyone could have ever imagined.
As threats were directed at Pepper and her family, she continued to uncover what she believed was a story that needed to be told, so with the support of her family and friends, she exposed one of the biggest scandals in the South, proving there is more to this story than anyone could have thought possible.
