I write under the pen name Pepper Anne and here’s why.
As I researched the story about Bob’s life, and in case you haven’t read The Notorious Texas Swindler yet he is the one the book is about, I uncovered one of the most bizarre stories that I’ve ever encountered with plenty of dangerous people, who made it clear that they did not want their names involved in any way in the book. I’ve had to rewrite the book three times, because the individuals I exposed hacked into my computer and deleted my work.
Needless to say, I had a lot to share! While I was working on the book, my family member’s lug nuts on the tires of our vehicles were loosened multiple times as a sign for me to quit writing the book. My loved ones encouraged me and insisted that I keep going, so I did, because it’s time for the real story about Bob Leach to come out.
So, here I am 12 years later, writing a blog on the advice of one of my dearest friends who is also my PA, Laura. You will rarely hear or see me say or write a family member or friend's name, because I am protective of them. With what I’ve uncovered in my first book, it should be easy to understand why.
